Apfelmus- Joghurt- Dessert

50 g of nuts of your choice (with me walnuts)
50 g of sugar
50 g whole grain biscuits (eg Hobbits from Brandt, gluten free: eg Schär Avena oat biscuits)
400 g applesauce, bought or according to the recipe: "applesauce"
400 g of Greek yogurt 10% fat
4 tsp powdered sugar
Cinnamon (optional)

  • Chop the nuts. Melt the sugar in a large, thick-bottomed pan over medium heat without stirring. (When the sugar begins to melt, panning the pan from time to time to make the caramel evenly golden brown.The caramel should not be too dark, otherwise it will taste bitter). Put the chopped nuts in the pan and stir quickly with a wooden spoon. Pour the caramelized nuts onto the baking paper and let it solidify.
  • Finely chop the cooled nuts in caramel and the wholegrain biscuits. (Best grind in a blender or fill in a freezer bag and crumble finely with the rolling pin).
  • Spread half of the crumbs on four glasses.
